Cooler Master HAF 700: maximum airflow in a monster case

Cooler Master listened to our requests and brings many of the excellent strengths of the HAF 700 Evo into a slightly more affordable format. At just under 360 euros, the HAF 700 - without Evo - is by no means a bargain, but it offers plenty of airflow and plenty of scope for hardware.

At the beginning of the year, Cooler Master revived the HAF case series: "High Air Flow" is behind the name and with plenty of space for very large components and a number of cooling options, the Cooler Master HAF 700 Evo lives up to its name. Now the manufacturer is following up with the HAF 700 , but the latest case does without the Evo addition, but mainly on optical extras .

The illuminated glass slats on the front are omitted , as is the adjustable iris display, on which system information, photos or even videos can be displayed in the Evo variant. The various options for installing fans and water cooling as well as plenty of space for hardware have remained.

Plenty of room for big components!

Again, an above-average number of components can be installed without tools , including the power supply bracket, the HDD cage for up to four of a total of nine hard drives and the multifunctional brackets for additional hard drives or cooling. Even the GPU slots can be brought into the vertical position without the addition of tools.

Just like the Evo variant, the HAF 700 can accommodate up to 18 fans . A total of six 120 mm fans or three 140 or two 200 mm variants can be attached to the cover. Two small 120 mm fans can also be used on the back, up to three 120/140 mm fans or the up to 420 mm large radiator in the floor can be placed at an angle on a corresponding bracket.

Large components can be accommodated in the HAF 700 without getting in the way: The CPU cooler can be up to 166 millimeters high , the power supply behind the mainboard can be up to 200 mm long and there is also enough free space for graphics cards up to 490 mm in length.

The Cooler Master HAF 700 is available now and costs 359.90 euros RRP, so it is a lot cheaper than the HAF 700 Evo, which costs almost 500 euros. The scope of delivery includes five ARGB PWM fans, two of which are 200 mm and three 120 mm models.
